MMS Tutors ("we", "us") provides online 1-to-1 GCSE and SATs tutoring. This page explains what personal data we collect through our website's enquiry form, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
When you submit the enquiry form on our website, we collect:

We do not ask for your child's name, date of birth, school, or home address through this form. We only collect what we need to respond to your enquiry.
We process this data based on your consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us (see contact details below); this won't affect any processing already carried out.
Our enquiry form is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service that receives your submission and forwards it to our email inbox. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf — they do not use your data for their own purposes. You can read their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
Once we receive your enquiry by email, it is stored in our email inbox, which is protected by a password and (where available) two-factor authentication.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes. The only party that handles your data besides us is Web3Forms, solely to deliver your enquiry to our inbox.
If you do not go on to become a client, we keep enquiry data for up to 12 months from the date of submission, in case you get back in touch, after which it is deleted. If you become a client, we retain relevant contact details for as long as necessary to provide tutoring services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month, as required by law.
This form is intended to be filled in by a parent or guardian, not by a child. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 16 through this form.
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies at this time. If that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change form providers or add new features. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
